Elliott Anderson

Elliott was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and trained by his parents for leadership and influence in the Lord. Pastor Elliott was baptized at age 12 but didn’t sanctify his heart and yield his soul to the Lord until he was a sophomore at Judson College. Right after surrendering to the Lord, he met his future wife Angie, and they were married two years later in 1989. He graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Counseling in 1991 and worked as a Crisis Family Therapist in Wheaton for two years, before returning to Judson and a 11-year career in Student Development (Resident Director, Dean of Students) and Athletics (Men’s Baseball and Men’s Basketball Coach). While serving as Vice President of Student Life,1998-2004. Elliott and Angie experienced 10 years of infertility until their adoption of twin boys was followed by two miracle pregnancies which resulted in four children in two years and 15 days.

Elliott was called to ordination and to pursue a full-time Pastor position during and he served as Senior Pastor of Elgin Evangelical Free Church from 2004 – 2012 before moving to Westminster Christian School as Dean of Spiritual Life and Head of School. He was also Pastor at Elgin Community Church from 2013-2015 before returning to Judson as the Wellness Center Director from 2015 – 2019. Elliott was called to Solid Rock Church in 2019 and was joined by Pastor Tim in 2022. Pastor Elliott is a community change agent and a gifted communicator. He has a strong, extroverted personality and is comfortable as a decision maker but thrives in a team environment with other open-minded leaders. Pastor Elliott is thrilled to partner with Pastor Tim in building Solid Rock Church into a restoration and redemption center based on the teachings of Jesus, the fruit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the Sovereignty of God.
