Solid Rock Church of Elgin Mission Statement
Solid Rock Church is an independent church bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to Elgin.
We will love God with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind (Deuteronomy 6:4-7, Mark 12:30-31); and love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40). We will learn God’s Word about his way, his truth, and his life (John 14:6); and we will live in the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8), producing the fruit that is evident of our faith (Galatians 5: 22-23). We will lead for Jesus with whatever gifts, talents, abilities, and opportunities he gives us (1st Corinthians 12:4-11, 1st Peter 4:10-11, Ephesians 4:11, Romans 12: 4-8).
